This refreshing green tea is cultivated on the rolling tea gardens of Sri Lanka’s central highlands, and nourished by her rich island soil and monsoon rain. The uppermost bud and leaves of the plant Camellia sinensis, which are pampered by cool winds and mist for most part of the year and are used in this tea. The high elevation at which they are grown, gives it an extraordinary flavour that is both mild and invigorating. Well known for its antioxidant proportions, this green tea is best brewed with hot but not boiling water.
